What  was a twenty year old man still doing in high school? Alty claimed that he was a slow learner. When the principal learned how old he was he was of a mind to expel him there and then and especially after he learned that a woman from a nearby village was pregnant for him. He has warned Alty that he would definitely be out should he hear about any other women being pregnant for him. Alty is in serious trouble because his baby mother, Cindy, will have her baby while he is still in school. She has told him to leave school and help her mind her baby or else she will take him to the family court. To complicate things his other girlfriend, Darlene is now pregnant. Despite his problems, Alty was still going around with some big ladies like Miss Georgette, Miss   Greta and Miss Donnette and also Miss Gibson.  Miss Georgette left him after she caught him with one of her workers. After he left school, Miss Greta said that her services were no longer free and after Alty gave his baby mothers money he didn’t have any to give her so she left him. Miss  Donnette found a new man and left him and Miss Gibson did the same thing.  Meanwhile Cindy is not pleased with the money she is getting especially after she heard that he has another baby mother.

Term Limits

In the United States they have term limits, whereby the President cannot serve more than two consecutive four year terms. In Africa for example we have seen the constitution of several of these countries being changed to allow Presidents to serve additional terms in office. Sometimes the populace has objected and this has led to violence. The people of Bolivia recently rejected Evo Morales attempt to serve another term in office. I think there should be term limits for the Prime Minister. However I am not sure whether it should be two or three terms of five years each. A man could become Prime Minister at forty years, serve two five year terms and be out of office by age fifty. On the other hand an individual could serve as Prime Minister, be booted out of office in the next election, has to wait out the term of office of the party in government before getting back into office. The Big Steal a short story by Austin Mitchell           Mr. Burton couldn’t believe his eyes. Two hours ago he had left the two goats tied to the guava tree to go and attend to his cows, now all that was tied to the tree was the rope. He wondered if by chance the rope had gotten loose and the goats had wandered off. He began to worry as they were quite a few small farmers like himself around. They planted a variety of crops and he knew the damage the goats could cause. He called over to his nearest neighbor, Garnet Green, but only Velma, his wife, was there.
