Also on Any Stories are Better Days are Coming and No Tears for Sonya. The number of words in each book are as follows:Uptown Lovers-Book One-73,583 words and Uptown Lovers Book two-93,493. Undercover Soldier-56,815 words, Better Days-46,475. No Tears for Sonya-9,976 and the Downtown Kingston Massive-58,268 words.

Sc hool Fights a short story by Austin Mitchell My old friend Elroy Reddy told me that two weeks into his high school life at Mc Cauley High in Nothern St Catherine, Cal Evans came to fight him. He was standing up in class. School was over for the day and he was getting ready to go home. Most students had already left. He was there when he felt a blow to his left side. He spun around and there was Cal. "So you want to take away my girl?" Cal fired a fist at him again and he ducked. The two of them then began to trade punches. Elroy said that he had fought in primary school, but Cal's punches were heavy. He grunted at the force of the boy's punches. Finally, just as he was about to finish off Cal, some bigger boys pulled them apart. Elroy said that he didn't understand why Cal came to fight him.
