I have several collection of short stories on Amazon. I am revising my two books, Undercover Soldier and Uptown Lovers. That project might not be finished before the end of this year, 2017. I am appealing to readers to support be by by buying my Kindle books or the paperback editions. At the moment I am not getting much support. I really would like to continue writing but I need support.

On Sunday mornings I used to go to Mr. John's farm to buy a live bird for our Sunday dinner. I had to have the cash as he wouldn't let me leave his yard without paying him. But on day I heard him quarreling that a Big Man had credited two twelve pound chickens from him and he could not get the money from the man. This man was a government worker. The man never returned to pay John.

I remembered a cricket match we played. I was going to high school and I was the captain of the team. It was against an all-age school in our village. Each side might have had about eight players. I was in Grade Nine at the time. We batted first and were being routed by the other side. I went to the crease and got my first ball and played a defensive shot, only to see my batting partner, a Grade Eleven boy, running down on me. I desperately tried to reach the other crease but was run out. I hoped that the boy would make amends for running me out. However, he was bowled the first ball he received. We were bowled out for eleven runs. Our opponents  easily hit off that score.

It does appear that when we have heavy rains, there are always stories of people being flooded out. The cause seems to be poor drainage. Some of the drains are old and cannot manage the amount of water and debris going through them. It is time for the government to correct the drainage problem in the country. Sometimes whole communities are cut off and it is sometimes some good Samaritan why we don't have loss of lives .

I don't normally comment on these things. I can't understand what is motivating these people to commit these horrible crimes that has shed so much blood. I have even thought that some scientist could come us with an invention to disable these bombs. I wonder how did this guy get access to the venue. Did they have metal detectors at the entrance to the venue? Couldn't it have picked him up as carrying a bomb?

My dog Louis, has disappeared almost a week now. We don't know what could have happened to him. No he wasn't a pedigree. We are suspecting that something could have happened to him. However we are hoping for the best. We are also hoping that it's not what we suspect has happened to him.

I have just completed my fist week in a new job. Seriously I wouldn't mind if I could get sponsored to continue writing. My chosen field is Accounting and Auditing. I've heard warnings that you cannot give up your day job to be a writer. It was my day job which gave me up. I spent twenty years in this job. I doubt if I'll ever get any sponsorship because I'm not an academic nor have I ever won any prizes for my writing. I need this sponsorship to have my various works proof read, edited and formatted. Also I need to get book covers for my books. If any of my readers know of anybody willing to sponsor me I would be very grateful. There is also a certificate course in Creative Writing that I want to attend.
