I listened to Uptown Lovers as an audiobook and it was quite exciting.Things really started heating up after the Easter holidays. Most of the characters had spent the Easter in Ocho Rios. Incidentally Ocho Rios is the place to be on a long weekends especially during Easter when there are endless parties. I hope to make an audiobook soon with Uptown Lovers. Uptown Lovers by Austin Mitchell Chapter Three Sunday: January 30, 2005-Morgana is talking to her mother, Monique and her sister, Bev, about the changes that will be taking place at her office with the arrival of Brad Newman and Rick Graham, two new vice presidents. Her mother and sister want to know about the two guys. Bev expresses a desire to meet her sister’s two new colleagues. Monday: January 31, 2005- Brad Newman and Rick Graham arrive at the offices of Newman and Graham Limited for their first day on the job. They meet the beauty, Morgana Simmonds, who was employed by bthe firm about three months previously as a manager. Rick invites her out for lunch but she refuses. They meet her sister,Beverly. During the week, both men try to get dates with Morgana. But she refuses. She also realizes that she know both of their girlfriends. Uptown Lovers-Chapter Two- by Austin Mitchell June 6, 2004- April and Stewart are at his apartment. She tells him that Morgana will soon return to the island. She tells him to warn her off and that he doesn’t belong to her again. Stewart and Bobbette have a meeting. She wants to know how Morgana’s return will affect their relationship. Stewart is in denial mode to both women. Of course he’s lying because he and Morgana have already agreed to resume their friendship once she returns home. June 30, 2004- Stewart attends Morgana’s welcoming home party and announces their upcoming engagement in September. August 14, 2004- April and Bobbette hear about his forthcoming engagement to Morgana and confront him about it. Stewart says that it was her mother who begged him to get engaged to her because of what some guy in America did to her. Chapter One Saturday – September 22, 2001- Bobbette Green meets Robert Parsons at one of his wholesales and they become lovers shortly thereafter. February 20, 2022- Bobbette and Robert are deepening their relationship, although   Bobbette is getting a bit bored with him and his constant pursuit of one business opportunity after another. She thinks about Stewart Brown, a popular guy on campus, but is afraid of people telling Robert that she has a lover. September 22, 2002-Bobbette and Stewart are now lovers. The Downtown Massive Chapter One Chapterization            Errol Douse is released from prison. He makes his way to the streets of Kingston again. He meets one fighters, Tad. Tad is in pursuit of Bus-up, a former collector for Shadow, who gambled and lost thousands of dollars for the former Don. They went to have a late breakfast. Just as they finish eating Tad receives a call from Sam, another of Shadow’s fighters. He says that he was following Bus-up, Downtown, but he gave him the slip.     Douse and Tad go to look for Sam, who explains what has happened.  Douse returns Downtown and tours the city. He notices how dilapidated the place has become. He buys a beer at a bar on Harbor Street before boarding a taxi for home.     He thwarts an attempted robbery of the taxi in which he was traveling.
