To my Readers

It is difficult for me to do so much writing and get no feedback. I don't know if most readers have decided that maybe I'm not a very good writer. At the moment I work part time but it is difficult to keep up the blog. I can't put stuff that I want to put in my books in my blog. Each time I do that I'm told that some om the work is in the public sphere already If readers want to get my work they will have to go on Amazon, Create Space, Lulu and other places. At the moment I'm revising some of my work to reissue them as paper back, kindle and e-book.

My Publications

It seems I'm getting into trouble with my publication. People claim that some of my stories are in the public domain. I have therefore decided not to post any more stories on my blog nor any more poems for that matter. If my readers want to read my work they have to access them on create space.com, Amazon.com, Amazon Kindle, lulu.com as well as other e-book and paper back publishers.

Waiting to Cross the Bridge is now on Amazon Kindle. This collection of short stories will soon be available on Kindle. I am asking all my readers to go out and get a copy. I am working on getting my other books on Kindle and as e-book.

Jamaica's 2017-18 Budget

Frankly I don't agree with the government various tax measures just to fund the $1.5M threshold. It's affecting too many people. I think it's inflationary and might affect our growth prospects. What I think they should have done is to gradually do the increase over the next five years. For example persons who will not benefit from the threshold are going to be affected. For example I hear that bus fares will be increased. Taxi fares will also increase as well as other transportation costs. Food prices will also increase. I am therefore appealing to the government to lower the concessionary rate for men on the Jamaica Urban Transit Company from sixty five years to sixty years.
