The 20/20 Cricket Worl Cup-2021

In the soon to be concluded 20/20 cricket Worl Cup there are 34 games if we discount the perliminary games. I am proposing that 16 teams be invited to the next Worl Cup. At the first round they would be divived into four groups. There would be eight ceded teams based on their world rankings. They would be a draw for these ceded teams with two per group.There would also be a draw for the unceded teams. In this new format they would play 32 matches so there would not be much loss in revenue. I think this format would be far more interesting with every team trying to make it to the second round. I'm just speculating that the format could look like this: Group A Australia England Namibia Afghanistan Group B West Indies Pakistan Bangladesh Nepal Group C India New Zealand Ireland Papua New Guinea Group D South Africa Siri Lanka Zimbabwe Scotland The big teams would easily make it the second road so it is up to the cricket authorities to bring the weaker up to scratch. The weaker teams just bear the label of having played. Do they get a monetary incentive that they could use to buld their associations and their teams?

Bubbles’ Baby by Austin Mitchell As I drove into Creighton on my way to Latore’s Ridge a young lady waved me down. When I stopped the car and she came up to it, I recognized her as ‘Bubbles’ Kenton, one of my former students. “Teacher, can I beg you a ride to Rennals?” “Sure, Bubbles, get in.” I opened the car door for her and she got in. She had a young baby with her, but I noticed that she didn’t have a bag, although the baby was wrapped in a towel. “Your first baby, Bubbles?” I asked as I drove off the car. “He’s Leta’s baby, teacher. Jamaica Creative Writer's Conference

How about a creative writers conference? This would bring together some of Jamaica's best creative writers to share ideas. I'm putting it out there because as far as I know there is not a lot going for creative writers. Can anybody make a living out of creative writing in Jamaica?
