Uptown Lovers-Revisited

Why was Stewart Brown a player? I started the novel and brought in Brad Newman and his cousin Richard (Rick) Graham. Brad was going to take away Morgana from Stewart and Bev would fall in love with Rick. Bev did fall in love with Rick but it didn't last. You will have to read deep into the book to find out about Morgana and Brad. There are seventeen chapters on typotic.com. There are some excerpts on this blog. It is also on lulu.com, ebook mall and payhip. Readers are invited to visit the Austin G Mitchell pages on Amazon to view my books.

Uptown Lovers-Another Perspective

UPTOWN LOVERS-Another Perspective by Austin Mitchell I first wrote Uptown Lovers several years ago as The Uptowners. It was filled with a lot of sexual escapades. I did a lot of editing and cut out a lot of love scenes. The two principal characters are Stewart Brown and Morgana Simmonds.  The story opens with Morgana’s send off party as she leaves to study in the United States. She gets a promise from Stewart that he will behave during her three year sojourn abroad. Morgana suspects that he’s a player and that is why she’s so nervous about going away. She knows about one of his girlfriends, April English and they’ve had many quarrels over him. Morgana hadn’t even landed in America before Stewart starts with April and a new girl, Bobbette Greene. A year later, Morgana is back home to attend her father’s funeral. She hears abut Stewart’s many escapades with several women. She writes him a letter and ends the relationship. She takes up with a Jamaican guy but the relationship...
