Going into the Hills to Teach

I've just written my ninth book of short stories and my eleventh book overall. The name of this book is 'Going into the Hills to Teach'. The book contains fifteen stories. It is published by create space and is available on Amazon. I would be delighted if some of my readers could look it up with a view to purchasing it. At the end of the book I have a simple additions table. It is just like the multiplication table we see on the back of most exercise books. I was wondering how useful it would be but I leave that up to the experts.

BUBBLE'S BABY-An Excerpt

Bubbles’ Baby by Austin Mitchell As I drove into Creighton on my way to Latore’s Ridge a young lady waved me down. When I stopped the car and she came up to it, I recognized her as ‘Bubbles’ Kenton, one of my former students. “Teacher, can I beg you a ride to Rennals?” “Sure, Bubbles, get in.” I opened the car door for her and she got in. She had a young baby with her, but I noticed that she didn’t have a bag, although the baby was wrapped in a towel. “Your first baby, Bubbles?” I asked as I drove off the car. “He’s Leta’s baby, teacher. Jamaica Creative Writer's Conference

How about a creative writers conference? This would bring together some of Jamaica's best creative writers to share ideas. I'm putting it out there because as far as I know there is not a lot going for creative writers. Can anybody make a living out of creative writing in Jamaica?
