Synopsis

Wareika Hills in the 1970’s was a hideout for many of Jamaica’s most notorious bad men. Several of these men work for Gus Mc Creed one of Jamaica’s leading drug barons. Mc Creed teams up with a Miami drug lord. Their plan is to use Jamaica as a transhipment port for hard drus fron South America to the United Stated\s.
Bendoo is a Detective Sergeant of police. He does mostly undercover work. He is an obvious choice to go Wareika Hills and infiltrate the gang. He is sent for by his superior and briefed about the assignment. On the way to meet his superior he intervenes in a quarrel between Gus Mc Creed’s daughter and his foster son, Fred Billings.
The plan is for Bendoo to grow dreadlocks, live in a community near the gang’s base and try to get in touch with a gang member. As luck would have it, some weeks after setting out on his assignment he meets one of the gang members. This man and Bendoo come from the same village but had lost touch with each other.  Bendoo tells him that he is in desperate need of work. The man gives him the lowdown on what he does. Bendoo tells him that he is willing to join the gang so long as he can make some money.
Bendoo also tells him that he has fired every gun that has ever come to Jamaica. He became a gangster when he got mixed up in the politics and started firing guns for a well known politician. He tells him that he has to be on the dodge from the police.
The next night, he is picked up by some of  the gang members going on an off the cuff raid. Bendoo believes that he has performed creditably on this raid. He wonders how he will be able to unmask the leaders of this gang. He is among some of the  most vicious criminals known.
He is soon in action again, going to Montego Bay, to warn some people down there, to cooperate with the organization or face death. While down there he again distinguishes himself by getting himself and his companion out of a really sticky situation. He is distraught as he has only managed to save two of the men visited but the others who do not agree to the ultimatum are killed.
But although Mc Creed was involved in a war which got rid of some of his rivals, some of them are fighting back. They start to raid his ganja fields and steal his ganja. Mc Creed hits back killing two of their men ans wounding two others.
There is a split among Mc Creed’s enemies. They feel that tougher action against Mc Creed is needed. They recruit two top notch American mercenaries to train their fighter. They plan all out war against the Mc Creed organization. In the midst of all this, Bendoo’s dreadlocksed friend is shot dead and two others injured.
Mc Creed’s fighters are in a hunt to find their enemies. No sooner had they found  out who the enemy was than Bendoo is unmasked and put in a cell at Wareika. He has just found out that Mc Creed is the leader of the Wareikans. Mc Creed and his fighters plan a raid on their enemies. Mc Creed tells them that if the raid is successful the fighters can empty out their guns into Bendoo when they return.
