Audiobooks

I may have come in late but I certainly don't want to be left out. I will be podcasting my short stories, plays and novels in the form of Audiobooks. I have done a lot of research on the subject. I don't have the money to hire a narrator plus I feel I have a good voice and a good command of the English language. I know that if I do a book in English it can easily be converted into several other languages. I have a computer so I just need to get a microphone and some other stuff but I'm eager to get going. Bubbles’ Baby by Austin Mitchell As I drove into Creighton on my way to Latore’s Ridge a young lady waved me down. When I stopped the car and she came up to it, I recognized her as ‘Bubbles’ Kenton, one of my former students. “Teacher, can I beg you a ride to Rennals?” “Sure, Bubbles, get in.” I opened the car door for her and she got in. She had a young baby with her, but I noticed that she didn’t have a bag, although the baby was wrapped in a towel. “Your first baby, Bubbles?” I asked as I drove off the car. “He’s Leta’s baby, teacher. Jamaica Creative Writer's Conference

How about a creative writers conference? This would bring together some of Jamaica's best creative writers to share ideas. I'm putting it out there because as far as I know there is not a lot going for creative writers. Can anybody make a living out of creative writing in Jamaica? I don't know but if anybody in Jamaica is making a living out of creative writing then they ought to be saluted.
